1.University Overview 学校简介

Óbuda University (English: Óbuda University, Hungarian: Óbudai Egyetem) is located in the capital of Hungary, Budapest. It is the largest practice-oriented technical university in Hungary and a current member of the European University Association (EUA). The university has its roots dating back to its establishment in 1410. It officially operated under the name Royal Public Higher Industrial School of Hungary from 1898, making it over 600 years old. In 1999, it merged with three technical colleges (Bánki Donát Technical College, Kandó Kálmán Technical College, Light Industry Technical College). On January 1, 2010, it was renamed Óbuda University.

Óbuda University is a constantly developing institution in the higher education sector of Hungary. It has over 15,000 students, making it one of the largest technical universities in Hungary. The university has received awards for higher education quality and excellence in Hungary. It is highly recognized both domestically and in EU countries, earning international accreditation. The university has produced numerous distinguished engineers and scientists, including the Nobel laureate Professor George Olah, who was awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1994. As of 2023, Óbuda University is ranked 4th nationally and 1st in technical universities in Hungary according to the TIMES World University Rankings.

欧布达大学（英语：Óbuda University，匈牙利语：Óbudai Egyetem），座落于匈牙利首都布达佩斯，是匈牙利最大的以实践为导向的理工类大学，欧洲大学协会（EUA）的现任成员。欧布达大学前身于1410年建立，1898年开始以匈牙利皇家公立高等工业学校的名义运作，距今已有600年历史，1999年合并了三所理工学院(Bánki Donát Technical College, Kandó Kálmán Technical College, Light Industry Technical College)。2010年1月1日，改名为欧布达大学。

欧布达大学在匈牙利高等教育领域是一个不断建设和发展的高校。欧布达大学有超过15,000名学生，是匈牙利最大的理工类大学之一。欧布达大学是匈牙利最高教育荣誉获得者之一，高等教育质量奖获得者。在匈牙利国内和欧盟国家得到高度的认可这也使得欧布达大学得到了国际的认可。欧布达大学的毕业生中诞生了大批杰出工程师和科学家，其中最优秀的是诺贝尔奖得主George Olah教授，于1994年获得诺贝尔化学奖。2023年，欧布达大学TIMES泰晤士世界大学排名位于匈牙利全国第4名，理工类大学第1名。

2.Program Background 项目背景

In October 2023, the third "Belt and Road" International Cooperation Summit Forum was successfully held in Beijing. China and Hungary actively promoted cooperation under the "Belt and Road" initiative. As one of the first European Union member states to join the "Belt and Road" initiative, Hungary has become a model for cooperation between China and Europe in recent years.

In recent years, China-Hungary relations have developed rapidly and cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative has yielded fruitful results. The cooperation in education mainly includes the following aspects: promoting academic exchanges and cooperation between universities, facilitating student exchanges and scholarship programs, supporting mutual cultural and language exchanges, and enhancing cooperation in vocational education and training. These policies aim to deepen the mutual understanding and friendship between the two countries, cultivate talents with an international perspective, and promote the exchange of knowledge and culture between Chinese and Hungarian universities.

2023年10月，第三届“一带一路“国际合作高峰论坛在北京成功举办，中国和匈牙利签署共建“一带一路”等五份合作文件，匈牙利作为欧盟成员国之一，地处欧洲心脏，且是第一个加入“一带一路”倡议的欧洲国家。近年来中匈关系快速发展，共建“一带一路”合作成果丰硕。匈牙利与中国在教育领域的合作政策涵盖广泛，主要包括以下几个方面：推动高校间的学术交流与合作、促进学生互换与奖学金项目、支持语言与文化的双向传播、以及加强职业教育与培训的合作。这些政策旨在深化两国教育领域的互联互通，培养具有国际视野的高素质人才。本项目能够很好推动匈牙利欧布达大学与国内高校的学术和人才交流，同时也支持了中匈两国之间的文化传播。

3.Program Basic Information 项目基本信息

Theme: Fundamentals of artificial intelligence

● Purpose: Help participants understand the basic of AI and help to develop practical skills to develop basic AI systems

● Duration: 2 weeks

● Program hours: appr. 30 hours academic course & 2 company/factory/lab visits

● Program Date (tentative): January 12^th to January 25^th, 2025

● Location: Óbuda University campus, Hungary

● Participants: Students from Chinese Universities major in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer engineering etc.

目的：帮助学员理解人工智能的基础知识，培养开发基本人工智能系统的实际技能。

课程时数：约30小时的学术课程，2次企业/工厂/实验室参访。
计划日期（拟定）2025年1月12日至1月25日
地点：匈牙利欧布达大学
目标学员：主修计算机科学、数据科学、计算机工程等专业的国内大学全日制在校学生（研究生也可申请）。
