Zahid Hassan, a Pakistani student of GU, who has stayed at the campus during the Spring Festival, based on his own personal experience, wrote the article Let's Isolate the Virus, Not the Chinese and published on CouponWorld. In this article, he truly described how the Chinese government has suppressed the spread of the epidemic at the fastest speed since the outbreak, and linked multiple videos of fighting the epidemic in the article, praising the medical staff who fought on the front line as true heroes.

Abdelhamid Jebbouri introduces China's experience in fighting COVID-19 to Morocco

Abdelhamid Jebbouri, a Moroccan PhD student in GU, received an interview with reporters from the Moroccan National Radio. Through personal experience, he affirmed the effective measures China has taken in the prevention and control of COVID-19 and introduced it to the Moroccan people.

International students of GU participated in the online ceremony of the Joint Initiative for International Cooperation to Fight COVID-19

On May 20, 2020, 166 young people from 55 countries participated in the  ceremony of the Joint Initiative for International Cooperation to Fight COVID-19, which was jointly organized by the Silk Road Youth Forum and the China Association for International Exchange and other social organizations through the online video platform. At the ceremony, the participating youths jointly studied the countermeasures against COVID-19. 25 international students of GU from 12 countries participated in through the online video platform. Among them, our Indonesian doctoral student Nurima Rahmitasari made a speech as a guest representative, and Taheri Mostafa of GU, a doctoral student in statistics from Iran, made a speech as the speaker. International students from 11 countries of GU read the initiative in their native language.

Zhu chu yi Jasmine, an Italian international student from GU,   participated in an artistic creation event organized by the Guangdong Chinese-Foreign People's Friendship Association with the theme of fighting COVID-19, and carried forward the spirit of cooperation in helping each other and fighting the epidemic together.
